Gogol Bordello - When the Trickster Starts a-Poking

2005 Warped Tour had lotsa cool bands, like MxPx, Dropkick Murphys, Motion City Soundtrack, Matchbook Romance, My Chemical Romance and so on. [ Click here for website with videos and MP3s ].
One new name caught me eye though:
Gogol Bordello is a gypsy punk band with the weiiiiiiiirdest form of punk music I've heard since....Since....Melt Banana. Okay, Melt is weird too, and has some punk elements, and a punk fanbase, but I forget if they're actually a punk band. I just know they're noisy.

Glitterbug is an excellent pop band (love their fun cover of Madonna's "Like a prayer"). Downloads are available at their site, if you can get them to work
Also, Metric has some new songs out. You can watch some Metric videos here, I like Succexy and Dead Disco the most. Also heaps of MP2s are available for downloads from the "Music section".
Metric has a very sexy sound.
Also, Spank Rock has a track out called "Put that Pussy on Me". Hear a sample here. You can hear the tongue clicking samples from Snoop Dogg's song here.

I found through Emp3world.com , this song I really like, so download! 
It's called Seneca Falls, by The Distillers. Don't let the feminist tones kill the song for you (if you're the type), it's actually a great punk song. I seem to really like punk bands headed by women, for some reason.

Music can teach you stuff too
I read recently in an article that went (something like) the punk movement is less about individuality, anti-establishment politics kinda thing, but associated with.......fashion sense now. They think it's about weird hair, chains, wrist bands and checkered shoes.
While that's kinda sad, I think....There are punks out there who don't know they're punks, and people who don't know they're NOT punks. That's all. I guess. But if enough people label themselves punk, and it's different from the old label, then hey, times change.

Copy, Right? is a blog that centers around songs that are covered, with MP3 downloads available for a short period of time.
Having been interested in covers for quite some time (and trying very hard to pretend Jessica Simpson's cover of These Boots Are Made For Walking never happened), I find this blog interesting, and informative if you follow it regularly enough to download the songs.

8, 2/137B Resource Industrial Centre, off Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.
If that is not good enough, then the directions I had to find Paul's Place (quite good, really), is to keep driving along Old Klang Road till you see Pearl International Hotel (half pink, half white building, total eyesore, hard to miss).
Paul's Place is on the OTHER SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY (if you're on the wrong side, there's a legal u-turn coming up pretty soon so stick to the right).
From there on, turn into the section of shops, there you'll either encounter a road filled with potholes (if you turn left), or a road with virtually nothing but a JVS Curryhouse (or something).
Paul's Place is nearby, adjacent to the Curryhouse, and it is located UPSTAIRS so point your face up if you want to find the sign.
That is all.
